Bitdeer AI Signs Eight-Year Deal for 60 MW A103 Data Center at Cyberjaya Campus in Malaysia

Bitdeer AI, the AI neocloud provider and preferred NVIDIA Cloud Partner within Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR), has committed to a 60MW AI Cloud data center known as A103 under an eight-year data center services agreement announced. The facility will be located in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, on the same campus as the company's existing A101 and A102 buildings. All megawatt figures refer to critical IT load.

A Campus Built Around NVIDIA's Next Generation

A103 is designed to host liquid-cooled, rack-scale NVIDIA systems, including the next-generation NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform. Energization of the facility is expected in the first quarter of 2028. Sitting alongside the already-established A101 and A102 facilities gives Bitdeer AI access to power, liquid cooling, and networking infrastructure already in place, which the company said shortens the path to energization.

Once A103 comes online, the Cyberjaya campus will carry approximately 71.5 MW of AI Cloud data center capacity across its three facilities. Michael G. Potter, Chief Financial Officer of Bitdeer Technologies Group, said the campus arrangement improves the company's time-to-market because it can draw on infrastructure already in place. He noted that A103 is built for the Vera Rubin generation, which he described as the capacity customers are asking about for 2028.

Secured Capacity Approaches 333.5 MW

The addition of A103 brings Bitdeer AI's secured AI Cloud data center capacity to approximately 333.5MW across facilities in Malaysia, Norway and the United States. The company defines secured capacity as capacity it owns or holds under an executed data center services agreement.

That total represents roughly 95% of Bitdeer AI's target of up to 350 MW of AI-ready data center capacity to be delivered by the first quarter of 2028. Potter confirmed that the A103 addition has secured approximately 95% of the up-to-350MW goal. Beyond the three countries already counted in the secured total, the company's broader data center network extends to the United States, Norway, Bhutan, Canada and Malaysia.

Uncontracted Capacity and a USD 10 Billion Pipeline

Bitdeer AI reported that demand for uncontracted capacity across its AI Cloud sites remains strong. The company estimates the active pipeline for AI Cloud capacity at more than $10 billion in aggregate potential contract value, a figure it characterized as a management estimate.

No Offtake Deals Signed for A103 So Far

Despite the agreement for the facility itself, Bitdeer AI disclosed that no offtake commitments have been entered into for A103 capacity. The company cautioned that commercial discussions relating to A103 may not result in executed contracts, that any contracts may not be signed on the expected timeline or ahead of energization, and that terms may differ from those previously announced by Bitdeer Technologies Group. Prior contract terms, including those for the A102 and A201 facilities, may not be indicative of future results.

The company further cautioned that there is no assurance it will secure the remaining capacity needed to reach its up-to-350 MW target, or that capacity under its data center services agreements will be developed, delivered or energized on the expected timeline.
