DayOne Backs NVIDIA DSX POD Reference Design as Gigawatt-Scale AI Infrastructure Operator

DayOne Data Centers Limited, a Singapore-headquartered global digital infrastructure platform, announced on 21 October 2026 that it will support the NVIDIA DSX POD, a new reference design intended to accelerate infrastructure deployment, through its proprietary integrated delivery model.

Factory-Built Delivery Model Underpins NVIDIA Ecosystem Entry

The company is joining the NVIDIA DSX POD ecosystem to speed up the delivery of AI infrastructure at scale and is working with NVIDIA to support the delivery of DSX POD to customers when available. Underpinning that participation is DayOne's standardized approach to data center development, which centers on the modular prefabrication of power, cooling, and base build systems.

By moving certain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure work into controlled factory environments, the company says the method shortens development timelines and allows consistent large-scale execution across the markets in which it operates.

The results, according to DayOne, are visible in its delivery record: the company states that it can complete data center projects in eight to twelve months in Southeast Asia, which it describes as a significant acceleration of digital infrastructure capacity deployment for customers.

What the DSX POD Reference Design Is Designed to Do

The NVIDIA DSX POD is a reference design that aligns compute, power, and cooling to enable faster deployment of infrastructure. Charlie Boyle, Vice President of DGX Systems at NVIDIA, described it as a response to rising demand for accelerated computing. "Meeting growing demand for accelerated computing requires integrated infrastructure solutions, and the NVIDIA DSX POD reference design helps align compute, power and cooling for faster deployment," Boyle said. Boyle also pointed to DayOne's specific capabilities as relevant to the design's adoption. "DayOne's support for this reference design, combined with its modular infrastructure and integrated delivery capabilities, can help customers bring capacity online sooner and shorten the time to first token," he said.

For DayOne, participation in the ecosystem reinforces its positioning as a gigawatt-scale operator collaborating directly with NVIDIA on the development of its modular data center platforms, with the stated aim of keeping its infrastructure ready for current and future generations of GPU technologies.

DayOne's Leadership Frames Prefabrication as the Path to AI-Era Speed

Jamie Khoo, Chief Executive Officer of DayOne, placed the announcement within the company's broader bet on prefabrication as the means of meeting AI-driven demand. "Prefabrication and modularization are key to delivering infrastructure at the pace required by the AI era. We are proud to be part of NVIDIA's ecosystem supporting the next generation of AI infrastructure through NVIDIA DSX POD," Khoo said.

Khoo also highlighted DayOne's standing within the ecosystem. "As the only gigawatt-scale data center operator supporting DSX POD, we work closely with NVIDIA in the development of our modular data center platforms," he said. "This collaboration helps ensure our infrastructure remains ready for current and future generations of GPU technologies, allowing us to deliver AI capacity at speed and scale, with the consistency and quality our customers trust."

Standardization Across Markets as a Scaling Strategy

The announcement builds on DayOne's stated strategy of accelerating data center deployment through standardized design, integrated delivery, and modular infrastructure solutions that can be deployed consistently across markets. According to the company, its modular platforms enable AI-ready data center capacity to be deployed faster and more consistently at global scale. This positioning reflects how DayOne views the current market.

As demand for AI infrastructure continues to grow and deployments become larger and more complex, the company places execution at the center of its value proposition. Customers, it argues, are seeking partners that can deploy the power, cooling, and space required at speed while maintaining consistent technical standards, and DayOne contends that its standardized approach to data center development is what distinguishes it in that environment.

Alignment Between Reference Design and Delivery Capability

The NVIDIA DSX POD reference design, which DayOne will support when available, is intended to accelerate infrastructure deployment by aligning compute, power, and cooling — the same elements that DayOne's prefabricated systems are designed to deliver through factory-controlled production and integrated delivery. The company's eight-to-twelve-month Southeast Asia timelines serve, in its framing, as evidence that the standardized model can translate into faster capacity for customers.

With the announcement, DayOne joins the NVIDIA DSX POD ecosystem as a gigawatt-scale operator and continues its collaboration with NVIDIA on modular data center platform development, with both companies pointing to shortened time to first token and readiness for current and future GPU generations as the outcomes customers can expect from the combined approach.
